Is Bottled Water Good For Your Health?
What do you think of when you read or hear the two words "bottled water" ? Famous people, sports stars gulping them down, perhaps. No doubt, bottled water certainly has become popular. But is it good for you? Read on...

Is bottled water a rip off?
Bottled WaterThe short answer is yes
. The longer answer is there is nothing fantastic about it. Its all a marketing hype. They tell us it is the best thing in the world for us, yah sure.
Bottled water may taste better than tap water, but its health benefits are not better at all. In fact, it is a marketing wonder that the vendors can sell people some thing they can get for free!

Is bottled water better for you than tap water?

Most bottled water is just tap water, so how can be better than tap water? It is filtered and purified , yes. So it is only "better than" tap water because it smells ans tastes better. But health wise, there is no proof that it is better for you so don't waste too much money on this advertising hype.
There are some things you need to know, though. Some manufacturers add stuffs to the water - they may add sugar or other flavorings to it. If it doesn't taste like pure water, there is something added to it. The water may come from a spring or a mountain river. Is this any better for you? Not really. There might be some minerals in it that tap water won't have. But for the most part it is just the same, but more expensive.

If you like the taste of bottled water but you don't like the taste of your tap water. what do you do?
Firstly, don't run to the nearest convenient store to get more bottled water. You can filter your tap water in order to make it taste better. One good one is the pitcher filter - when you pour the water into the pitcher, it goes through a filter and your water is filtered. They are less expensive and easy to use.

There are also filters that you can put right over your faucet. These filters are quite useful and are the best thing to use. They come with replaceable filters so that your tap water is always filtered properly. There is also the bigger, more cumbersome water filtering system. These are more expensive but not necessary better than the humble water faucet filter. Do your homework properly if you intend to buy one.

Another way to improve the taste of your tap water is to cool it down. For example, try filling up the empty bottles with tap water and put them in the ice box. This will make cold and nice. You will notice that when cold, the water has a different flavor. You might find this to be drinkable.

The problem with the bottled water is that it is overpriced and overhyped. They are charging you an arm and a leg for something you can get next to free. Should you pay for it? The answer is clear.

You should stop drinking bottled water and see how much money you save just for one month.
